The Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) has published a new syllabus for the Nayab Subba examination. The Nasu position is a key administrative role within the Nepalese civil service.
The examination is based on the Integrated & Unified Examination System and is divided into two main parts:

- Examination System: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Number of Questions: 50 (2 marks each)
- Time: 45 Minutes
(b) Second Stage (Stage – II): Main Examination
- Paper: Second
- Subject: Contemporary Studies & Public Service Management
- Full Marks: 100
- Pass Marks: 40
- Examination System: Subjective (Short & Long Answers)
- Questions: 14 short (5 marks each), 3 long (10 marks each)
- Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Paper: Third
- Subject: Service-Group related subject
- Full Marks: 100
- Pass Marks: 40
- Examination System: Subjective (Short & Long Answers)
- Questions: As per the given related syllabus
- Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Part 2: Final Stage Examination
